Associate Director of Care Policy
As the Associate Director of Care Policy, Jaria spearheads the efforts to attain Childcare for All and a more equitable healthcare system with the Build the Future Campaign, Care Workers Council, and Health Equity Agenda coalition. She gained her advocacy and policy skills from her former work as a Field Representative at the California State Assembly and then as a City Council Policy Director at the City of San José. Jaria also currently serves as the youngest woman and first openly bi-sexual School Board Member at Berryessa Union School District where she successfully advocated for millions in school funding. Outside of work, she loves to travel around the world to try new food dishes — specifically desserts!
